Upon clawing a toolbox instead of destroying it I got the following message:

You clawed the Toolbox, damaging it (2 minutes 38 seconds ago)

There is no status in the toolbox and I couldn't find anything about it in the wiki. Is this a bug or do toolboxes have more resistance than other items? If it is the latter, how many hits does it take to destroy a toolbox?

Feature, not a bug.  Toolboxes have 10 HP and act similar to gennies, radio transmitters, and (I believe) computers when on the ground.

Will note to have that added to the wiki.

Thank you for the answer manitou. What about displaying the status of the toolbox and of those other items while on the ground?
