Hi everyone,

I'm new to the game and was wondering if there are any good places to get de-zombified?

Thanks for the help!

Not really. The best option you have to to join a group. If you don't want to do that, then I guess you could try standing outside a Lab.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the game and was wondering if there are any good places to get de-zombified?

In the past, the proper procedure for both sides was to stand outside Parks and Cemeteries since neither location compromises the citizens or zombies inside a building (i.e. a lab). Recently (maybe 10 rounds ago) people have gotten in the habit of standing outside Labs which doesn't do anything but compromise the scientists inside.

My suggestion would be to find the districts that are the most active with your side and stand in the closest park or cemetery and put "Revive me" or something equivalent. A number of (veteran) inject scientists do patrols in those area and hopefully will get you. If not someone will report it and you'll get revived. This is the simplest method since it will minimize the amount of EP people have to spend finding you.

Lastly, for this specific case feel free to PM me and I can arrange a conversion in game. Hopefully someone already took care of it.

The lab approach works for me. Must be because I'm considered one of those 'veteran' guys. Once got injected while playing career green because the guy thought I wanted it. He was promptly thanked, of course, because the intention was pure. I think I spent the rest of the round pink by some happenstance.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, whenever we play green and we see a lab with either zombies outside or zombie bodies outside and they are predominantly ones that say "Revive me" or better yet are part of a career pink group, we attack it and infect the Scientists inside. All it did was provide us with free intel on food. Specifically food that is also classed and helping the cause. Furthermore, by funneling all injects into one location it makes it really easy for a scientist to just "do the rounds" and go to said location and revive. They waste no EP walking around searching or going to one, two or even three locations. It's all about EP efficiency (and security). I remember back in the days I'd to to a random park designated revives and see 3, maybe even 4 zombies and since I didn't walk more than 2 or 3 EP, I was able to inject all of them. That's no longer the case anymore. I spend most of my time waking around looking.

I'm not sure when this "stand outside a lab" thing became so common or an accepted practice, but most Veteran players stick with the above and disregard this newly accepted practice. I remember through most of the 10 - 20 rounds the practice was parks and cemeteries. I didn't even invent this, it was that way prior to me playing a Scientist and I accepted it since it was a sound strategy. Perhaps PR came up with it back in the day? As for yourself TBB, I think a lot of that has to do with being A) a veteran player and B) being in a well-known and solid group. For ferals, I still think the above is the best strategy. Especially when said injector specifically says they'll watch this location.

Thanks for the help!

Alright hopefully it gets taken care of. If not, let me know via PM (we can't metagame here) and I'll try my best. It'd be unfortunate if you spent most of your time green and frustrated. Also make note of the people who don't pay attention to your profile and trench you anyway. Unfortunately, there are a non-trivial amount of players who will do this.
